A bridge from mountain to cup

Good tea begins long before the kettle.

Founder Zhuoyu Li grew up in Yunnan in a family that collected and enjoyed Pu-er tea. After years in multinational sales and service, he founded his company in December 2018, became a national distributor of Yunnan Baiyao tea in 2019, and began developing his own tea brands from 2020.

Every spring he returns to remote tea mountains, works directly with growers, joins the harvest and follows processing standards. Mei Zan Hao exists to connect tea lovers with authentic origins while helping good tea travel beyond the mountains.

Brew with care

One mini tea pouch. Ten or more infusions.

Use one 7 g mini tea pouch

Choose a 150–200 ml gaiwan

Use boiling water at 100 °C / 212 °F

Rinse once and discard

Decant each infusion immediately

Drain completely between infusions

Brew with care

Seven steps for a clean, expressive cup.

Follow the sequence below. The key is to pour promptly and drain the gaiwan completely after every infusion.

Warm the gaiwan

Rinse a 150–200 ml gaiwan and the serving ware with boiling water (100 °C / 212 °F).

Discard the warming water

Pour all warming water out before adding tea.

Add the tea

Open one 7 g mini tea pouch and place all the leaves in the gaiwan.

Wake the leaves

Pour boiling water gently along the inner wall of the gaiwan.

Discard the first rinse

This first rinse wakes the leaves. Pour it out completely and do not drink it.

Brew the second infusion

Refill with boiling water and decant immediately—do not steep.

Drain every infusion

The tea is ready from the second infusion. Finish each cup before refilling, and leave no tea liquor in the gaiwan.

Routine customs inspection may extend delivery to 15–20 days.

Customs note

Orders ship from Yunnan, China and are declared accurately as tea at the true order value. Any duties, import taxes or clearance fees assessed by the destination authority are paid by the recipient. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

After-sales

Opened tea cannot be returned except for a verified quality issue. For damaged or incorrect goods, contact us with photos within 48 hours so we can arrange a replacement or approved refund. This does not limit rights under applicable consumer law.
